Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to launch with day-one DLC

Battlefield Bad Company 2

According to a Bad Company 2 blog site, EA has confirmed that new copies of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – which launches next week – will contain a VIP code granting access to free day-one DLC.

Buying brand new will net you two new multiplayer maps: Nelson Bay for Rush mode, and Laguna Alta for Conquest. Furthermore, it is believed that a second Map Pack will follow shortly afterwards.

Those reluctant to purchase the game in pristine, shrink-wrapped condition won’t miss out too sorely, however. These beautifully built, atmospheric locations will be available later on the PlayStation Store for a small fee.

After watching EA’s official DLC trailer, no price would be too high in our opinion. These maps are not to be missed!
