Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 appears to be dominating the landscape of next generation first person shooters, despite its online multiplayer element being saturated with flaws, hacks, glitches, and arrogant pubescent gamers.

But for how long? We realise this is a bold question, though we feel Digital Illusions CE (better known as DICE) will give Infinity Ward a run for their money when Battlefield: Bad Company 2 hits the market. We’ve been reviewing the statistics recorded during the closed beta thus far; in one month the kill count has reached a staggering 45.42 million. 3.43 million vehicles have been destroyed, 380,000 buildings have been blown to bits, and there are still five days until the beta closes!

More than 300,000 individuals are presently taking part and, judging by the above figures, it looks like each one of them is playing this title to death. Literally!

bad company 2 is probably the best shooter out .COD2 is a kidz game its to easy very boring but i guess thats why people like it no one wants to be challenged anymore. they want everything handed to them . bad company 2 is great very entertaining and challenging . a must have

Having been playing the Call of Duty series for a while i came across the Battlefield series of games recently and im glad i did.COD4 was/is ok, MW2 is a joke.I played BFBC2 beta and is simply different class.Well done.

Right down to hearing the bullets breaking the sound barrier. Very realistic like and eye popping explosions!.. worth the purchase!

This game is totally better than the original BC game, much faster pace, better graphics and more fun. The chat client is much improved along with the team invitation component.

Agree. Great game but some players are still unhappy about the tanks , other than that I love it!!

I've played the beta extensively and i can safely say its way more fun than mw2 and once the full game comes out i know i will be playing this a lot more and really give mw2 a fight. :) This was a great beta!
