According to a rumor, Australia will only be getting 11,000 PS3 for the launch. Kotaku is reporting that few tipsters have revealed that the retailers were only getting 11,000 PS3 units. This sounds like the initial launch in North America where 400,000 units were promised but only around 200,000 units were shipped. Aussies will have to pony up $1,000 AUD ($787 USD).
