Armored Core for Answer, the next title in From Software’s Armored Core series is looking great. Scheduled to be released in North America on September 16th, it starts off nearly ten years after Armored Core 4, and (as always) the corporations rule the world with an iron fist.

The corporations have forced the world’s remaining population into massive aircraft called “cradles” which offer little space to live. Knowing Ravens were the only people who disrupt the balance of power against their favor, and contaminate the environment around them in doing so, the corporations built massive weapons called “Arms Forts” to suppress their activity. Ironically, the corporations still depended on Ravens to gain power over the other companies.

Armored Core for Answer is excellent: it’s so good, it makes up for the fact that Armored Core 4 was less than stellar. Many features have been implemented and improved from AC4 including; 2 new arenas (Collerad and ORCA), a better AC assembly interface, a large amount of new parts, over 30 brand new missions that actually last more than 30 seconds, much more powerful QB and OB from AC4, online chat, and “partnerships” which can allow you to work along someone else online to complete a mission, and much, much, more.
