Are we going to see any major PS3 titles by Christmas
As reported on ps3centre.net
It seems that according to rumors Capcom and SEGA are going to hold off on releasing and developing certain PS3 games as they want to wait and see how the market is after Halo 3 releases on the Xbox 360. This could be a possible sign that Capcom and SEGA want to see what kind of impact Halo 3 has on the video game market and how many sales of Xbox 360 units it garners. The news came at TGS when both companies stated that many PS3 games they had in development are now on hold. It is not a good sign that major developers such as SEGA and Capcom are basing releases on how well Halo 3 does…at least not good for PS3 fans.

They are basing it on a single game? Shouldn’t they base it on what happens during the holiday seasons?
That’s some pretty circular logic they’ve got there.
Oh I just reread it, its a rumour. I just wanted to say that I was looking forward to Valkyrie of the Battlefield and Yakuza III (I played the original).
I hope they understand some pretty important stats. In just 9 months, the PS3 managed to secure more than half of the sales of the 360, and half of this was before the price drop. Every PS3 user equals a PS1/2/3 user, I’ve already bought 20+ PS2 games and 2 PS3 games (Warhawk and Heavenly Sword) since I got it this summer. The fact that there aren’t many game can also be a good thing. I mean you have over 5 million users and not as much competition (i.e. Halo 3) on the system.
